Jared M. Homan, DDS

After graduating with a degree in exercise science at Hillsdale College, Dr. Homan went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the Creighton University School of Dentistry in 2020. He takes advantage of continuing education opportunities on a regular basis and is pursuing advanced training in extractions and dental implants. He is a member of the American Dental Association® and the Nebraska Academy of General Dentistry. His also a member of the Pankey Study Club and the Dawson Academy.

Dr. Homan wants to form genuine, personable relationships with his patients and provide high-quality dentistry in a friendly and comfortable environment. He offers exceptional dental care in a stress-free dental setting. He takes the time to listen to each patient’s story and create a customized treatment plan to help them achieve their dental health goals.

Dr. Homan is a triplet, and his brothers are both internal medicine doctors. His wife, Katie, is also a dentist. When he can get away from the office, he enjoys attending Nebraska football and Creighton basketball games and spending time with his two dogs — Cooper, a golden retriever, and Tucker, a chocolate lab.

Julia

Receptionist

Julia has been with us since April 2000 and has a dental assistant certificate from the Omaha College of Health Careers. Julia is the friendly and compassionate voice on the other end of the phone you hear when you call our office. She tries to understand dentistry from the patient’s point of view. She enjoys forming long-term relationships with our patients and can assist you with scheduling your appointments and your insurance and financial issues. Julia has been married to her husband, Jeff, for over 40 years and they have two adult sons. In her spare time, she relaxes by cooking, baking, and watching college football and baseball.

Ann

Dental Hygienist

Ann is a 2007 graduate of the UNMC College of Dentistry and became a part of our practice in 2019. She loves being part of a fun, hard-working team and developing relationships with her patients and their families. She is a team player who helps out wherever she is needed. Ann and her husband, Kevin, have two children, Josie and Kevin. Ann likes to spend time outside and attend her children’s soccer, volleyball, and baseball games.

Sarah

Dental Assistant

Sarah earned her dental assisting certificate at Metropolitan Community College in 2006 and joined our team shortly afterward. She is a team player who enjoys helping out with all aspects of our practice and learning new skills. She enjoys getting to know our patients, making them feel comfortable at our office, and answering their questions. She always strives to provide the best dental care and experience that she can. Sarah and her husband, Justin, have a son, Myles, and a dog, Bella. She always looks forward to spending time with family and friends.

Gwen

Dental Hygienist

Gwen began working in dentistry in 1967 while she was still attending Marian High School. She started with Dr. Gosney by developing X-rays and cleaning the office to studying four-handed dental assisting at Creighton University with that same doctor. In 1973, she graduated as a dental hygienist. Gwen joined our practice in 2015, and we have really appreciated her commitment to our patients since. She is very focused on each patient and she enjoys building a trusting relationship with them and helping them understand their own oral health and how it relates to their total body health.

Gwen is glad to be part of such an awesome and caring team with Jared M. Homan, DDS, and she also has an amazing team at home. She has been married to her high school sweetheart, Jim, for over 49 years, and they have two daughters and three granddaughters. She enjoys family time and get-togethers, especially when they can travel together to the Florida Keys. Gwen also enjoys reading with her great book club, traveling, and doing anything active, especially water fitness, yoga, Pilates, Forever F.I.T., and walking.
